RV College of Engineering, aka RVCE for short, is a private engineering college. It was established in 1963 in Bangalore. It is a reputed college affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University. You can secure a seat through the management quota if you have not scored a good rank in the entrance exams. Under the management quota, 25% of seats are reserved for direct Admission in B.E, M.Tech, and MCA.

Eligibility Criteria for Management quota admission in RV College of Engineering
- Admissions start from April month through the management Quota. The admission process keeps on going until all the available seats under the management quota are occupied.
- Thus, even though the regular classes may have begun, the admission process to the courses would still be going on.
- The annual tuition fees for the courses are a little higher as compared to the seat secured through the entrance examination.
- Annual tuition fee needs to be paid along with a donation to the college, which differs from department to department.
The common eligibility criteria for the Management quota admission in RV College of engineering is as follows:
- Applicants should have obtained 45% or higher in their 12th class in compulsory subject's physics, chemistry and Mathematics.
- The applicant should not have obtained less than 50% marks in their entrance examination.
- The applicant's NATA marks should also be above 80%
Admission Eligibility for Admission through the Management Quota in B.E
RVCE offers Bachelor of Engineering courses in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical & electronics engineering, chemical engineering, aerospace engineering, artificial intelligence & machine learning, etc.
- Students willing to take Admission must have secured at least 70% marks in Science & Mathematics separately in the 10th.
- He/She must have secured a minimum of 65% marks in Physics and Mathematics separately in the 11th.
- A minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics and Physics separately in 12th.
- Candidates must have appeared in either COMEDK/CET/JEE/Other National Level Entrance Test.
- If the candidate has studied from a foreign board, he/she will need an AIU equivalence certificate. You can apply for the certificate at aiu.ac.in
Admission Eligibility for Admission through the Management Quota in M.Tech
The Department of Engineering of RV College of Engineering provides M.Tech in:

Criteria:
- The student should have passed BE/B.Tech or another equivalent course with at least 50% marks calculated together in all the subjects in all three academic years. For SC/St students, 45% marks are compulsory in BE/B.Tech
- The candidate should have appeared in PGCET or GATE. However, if the candidate has not appeared in these entrance exams, a separate entrance test is conducted. The candidate has to clear this entrance exam.
Admission Eligibility for Admission through the Management Quota in MCA
- Candidates must have passed BCA or Bachelor in Computer Science Engineering or B. Com/B.Sc./B. A with Mathematics in 12th class or Graduation level and an extra bridge course under the norms of the concerned University.
- At least 50% aggregate minimum marks taken together in all the subjects in all three academic years of graduation. For SC/ST/Category-1 of Karnataka students, 45% marks are required in graduation.
- The applicant should have taken the PGCET or KMAT entrance test with a valid rank.

- Original mark sheet for all six semesters of graduation
- Original degree certificate
- Transfer and migration certificate if the student studied outside Karnataka
- Student Aadhar card's copies

- Two recent colour passport size photographs, one stamp size photograph
