Presidency Institution, Bangalore, is a private university founded in 2013 by the Presidency Group of Institutions in Yelahanaka, Bangalore (PGI). It is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and has the University Grants Commission's (UGC) approval (AIU). It has been reaccredited with an "A+" grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The university provides undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programmes in a variety of fields, including engineering, commerce, management, and law, among others.

The seven constituent schools are the School of Engineering, the School of Commerce, the School of Law, the School of Management, the School of Design, the School of Information Science, and the School of Media Studies.
