Minimum Eligibility Requirements for NMIT BTech

Candidates must have passed the second PUC/twelfth grade or an equivalent test with English as one of the languages and have earned a cumulative score of 45 percent in physics, mathematics, chemistry, biotechnology, computer science, electronics, and biology. Candidates from Karnataka's Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B) must receive at least 40% of the total marks in the qualifying examination's optional subjects to be considered eligible.

In addition, candidates must satisfy COMEDK and Karnataka CET qualifying standards (KCET). Admission and Selection Procedures for NMIT BTech

KCET and COMEDK UGET scores are used as the foundation for admissions to NMIT's BTech programmes. The following steps are taken in the admissions process:

By way of CET Karnataka (45 percent of the total seats)
By way of COMED-K (30 percent of the total seats)
Using the Management Quota (25 percent of the total seats)
