BAMS Full form is "Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery". It is an undergraduate medical course. BAMS course duration is 5½ years with the final year being a compulsory internship duration, students have to work as an intern in the areas assigned to them. BAMS is a different medical course, in which students are trained to treat the patients with only Ayurvedic medicine.
